Starkey’s new Edge AI hearing aids come with Deep Neural Network (DNN) technology, highly advanced real time adaptability powered by AI that works in challenging hearing environments to make conversations easier to follow. With 100 times more processing power than the previous Genesis AI hearing aids, Edge AI hearing aids also come equipped with a new manually operated “Edge Mode+” that instantly optimises sound quality in extremely difficult environments where more aggressive use of this AI driven adaptability is required. A simple tap on the device engages Edge Mode+.

Edge AI also provides proprietary sound therapy designed to help tinnitus and Voice Assistant integration, which lets you use your Edge AI hearing aids with smart assistants like Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.

Starkey’s Edge AI platform provides 3 receiver-in-canal (RIC) models:

Starkey Edge AI RIC RT

The flagship hearing aid in the Edge AI range. The RIC RT offers the unrivalled performance provided by the latest Edge AI platform in a rechargeable hearing aid, delivering all day performance with up to 51 hours of battery life and seamless compatibility with loop systems thanks to it’s inbuilt telecoil. The ultimate Edge AI hearing aid.

Starkey Edge AI mRIC R

Starkey’s smallest RIC hearing aid on the Edge AI platform (mini-receiver-in-canal), mRIC R is also rechargeable and offers all the same features as the top of the range RIC RT, minus the inbuilt telecoil. The smaller size also means a slightly reduced battery life of up to 41 hours off one full charge.

Starkey Edge AI RIC 312

Slightly smaller than the RIC RT, but not as small as the mRIC R, the RIC 312 is a compact and discreet hearing aid powered by 312 batteries. It is a discreet, flexible hearing aid, but does not come with a built in telecoil.

Starkey Edge AI ITE R

A rechargeable in-the-ear (ITE) model providing up to 42 hours of battery life. The ITE R is a custom fit hearing aid designed for ultimate comfort with a snug and secure fit inside your ear. The largest of the 3 in ear models, the ITE R also sits at the top of the in ear hearing aids in the Edge AI range, coming with an in built telecoil.

Starkey Edge AI ITC R

The ITC R sits in the middle of the Starkey Edge AI in ear range in terms of size, being slightly smaller than the ITE R. The ITC R fits in-the-canal (ITC), is also rechargeable, but does not sacrifice on battery life, matching the 42 hours of the ITE R. The ITC R does not come with an in built telecoil though.

Starkey Edge AI CIC

The smallest hearing aid in the Edge AI range, the CIC (completely-in-canal) is designed to be nearly invisible. The CIC is not rechargeable, being powered by a 10A battery, and does not come with a built in telecoil. The CIC also sacrifices some connectivity options in favour of maximum discretion.
